Getting up close and personal

Is there anything more beautiful than the face of your own child? I don't think so. I think of my boys as a work of art that I'm lucky enough to see and experience every day. I know that sounds a little cheesy, but it really is true. This is the reason that I love a close up picture, especially of children! A close up picture leaves out all the distractions and focuses on what you are really getting the pictures for, to remember every detail in your childs face before it changes tomorrow.

So my tip to you today is that no matter what type of camera you have, get up close and personal with your own kids to get that perfect picture. Make sure the focus is right on the eyes and you will have a stunning picture!

Shannon,

I was doing some blog stocking and came across your blog - these pictures are so cute!! You are so talented! How much do you charge for a big family? My family is planning on getting our pictures done sometime this summer when my brother gets home from his mission. There will be 5 little kids (ages 5 and under) and then my fam which is 3 of us and spouses, my brother and my parents. It would be kind of a crazy shoot!

If you could email me back when you have time that would be great! jessicajreeves@gmail.com. Sorry, I should have emailed you rather than leaving a long comment!!
